Malaika H. Kambon is an award winning freelance photojournalist based in Oakland, CA. who specializes in event and athletic photography. She likes for her photographs to tell a story, to capture the speed and timing of a moment, and to document important individual and community events whose significance might otherwise be missed or discounted.
